Enhancements
Important Notes
- As a reminder, in an October 2021 email, we announced March 31, 2022, as the “End of Life” date where we would no longer support Internet Explorer (IE) with Nexsure. If not done already, to fully leverage Edge or Chrome, attention is required to migrate any existing Document Templates within Nexsure that you plan to continue to use beyond March 31, 20222. Document Management
- Added a Word and Excel Add-In which gives users the ability to save a Word or Excel doc opened on your workstation to a client/policy in Nexsure. The Add-In also allows users to open a Word or Excel doc within a client’s Attachments screen in Nexsure, edit the document and the save back to the client/policy in Nexsure either as an update to the existing doc or as a new document. Updating an existing document will save the new document back to the original document as a new iteration, keeping the original in place. A version history will be created so any iteration of the attachment can be viewed. NOTE: The functionality above is in place within Nexsure however we are waiting on Microsoft's approval on the Add-In within the Microsoft Store before the functionality can be used. We will send a follow-up notification once the Add-In is available from Microsoft
Portal
- Expanded the Retail Agent End of Day notification process time. Previously only 5:00pm to Midnight were able to be selected. Now any hour within a 24-hour period can be selected
Reports
- Added the Physical and Mailing Address from the Primary Location on a client to the Income Production Credit report. NOTE: This applies only to the "XLS (Unformatted)" output
Service Automation
- Added endorsement workflow for when a user sets an endorsement to Submitted status, Nexsure can be setup to trigger Service Automation for Verifications in the same way as New Business and Renewals currently do
Training
- Added the Create Document Templates webinar video to the Nexsure Help section
Resolved Issues
Accounting
- Corrected an issue in which the Retail Agent Remittance Batch was printing out of order
- Improved performance when clicking on the Receipt link within Deposits
CRM
- Corrected an issue in which adding a phone number at the same time a new contact was being added would not save the phone number when the contact was saved
Forms
- Corrected an issue in which changing the status on an Endorsement to Submitted and clicking Save Changes would cause an error
- Corrected issues in which certain fields were not migrating from the older version of the Acord 160 to the new version
- Corrected an issue on the Acord 160 form in which the Property and Personal Property valuation fields were set to currency. This has been corrected so that there are now drop-down selections with an option for free form input
- Corrected an issue in which adding the Acord 160 to an Acord 24, 25, 27 and 28 certificates would cause an error
Reports
- Corrected an issue in which filtering by Retail Agent would cause an error on the Customer Statement report
- Corrected an issue in which an error would occur when running the Policy Locations report
- Corrected an issue in which the Actions report was not returning any data
Security
- Corrected an issue in which a user who has security in a large number of branches was not able to see all the branches in the Branch drop down on the Search screen
